IPNLF works to develop, support and promote socially and environmentally responsible pole-and-line, handline and troll (collectively known as one-by-one) tuna fisheries around the world.

The Gulf of Maine Research Institute is a non-profit marine science center located in Portland, Maine. The Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI) catalyzes solutions to the complex challenges of ocean stewardship and economic growth in the Gulf of Maine bioregion.
