Established in 1999, Moody’s Seafood Inc. is a business operated by a third generation fishermen family focused on providing high-quality shellfish products. For over 25 years, the business has spent time within the management sphere of the shellfish industry, acting as a local and state committee member of the fishing industry, participating in local re-seeding and predator control. Moody’s Seafood is also currently in the process of dedicating 10% of its profits from the sale of its shellfish to the re-seeding effort as well as to industry research.

Its five locations across mid-coast Maine allow Moody’s Seafood to buy and harvest product daily and to have the ability to keep a steady, consistent flow of shellfish to its wet storage facility where they are purged of sand. Products are lab tested and certified to ensure the quality. Moody’s Seafood maintains accreditation, insurance, and licensing that provides its customers with the protection and peace of mind they deserve. The business is also FDA and HAACP-approved.
