Sea Forager Seafood

Sea Forager Seafood is a community-supported fishery (CSF) that partners with local, small-scale fishermen using ethical fishing practices to provide sustainable and delicious seafood  - sustainably packaged -  to passionate home cooks. Members get fishery info, prep tips, recipes, and fun informative events. Individual seafood packages (in biodegradable packaging) are delivered in a cooler once a week, and members can sign up for weekly or biweekly deliveries, add-ons, and place holds as needed. 

Sea Forager members get the story behind the fish and what makes it sustainable. The packages include in-depth information on every species included, how and where they were caught, and why it matters. Sea Forager Seafood believes sustainability begins with traceability, so members will always know who caught their fish and how.

Founded by Kirk and Camilla Lombard, Kirk also leads coastal fishing and foraging walking tours in San Francisco and Half Moon Bay, helping people enjoy and conserve their local bounty. Kirk is the author of The Sea Forager’s Guide to the Northern California Coast (Heyday Press), and he and Camilla perform together with their sea shanty quartet, The Fishwives.
