Dave Mann and his wife, Ann Renee, have been fishing the rich, icy waters off Kodiak Island, Alaska for decades aboard their 58-foot limit seiner, the F/V Alchemist. Dave and Ann started wildfishwives.com to market their fish directly to restaurants and small retailers and wholesalers who recognize that the highest quality fish is worth a little bit more. All the sockeye and coho salmon caught by the Manns are hand bled put in slush ice and delivered to a processing plant for filleting within 8 hours of being caught.
