✕Founded in 1998, Xsealent Seafood Company (XSC) is located in the heart of Nova Scotia’s fishery, Cape Sable Island. From humble beginnings, XSC has grown to become one of the largest seafood processors on C.S.I. Xsealent prides itself on its outstanding quality management and superior products. XSC processes wild caught North Atlantic Haddock and Halibut fished from the areas known as Georges Bank, and Browns Bank, as well as the inshore fishing grounds off Nova Scotia’s pristine coastline, creating first class products that are unrivaled in the industry.
With a combined experience of over 85 years in the seafood sector, XSC production specialists and senior production staff are highly trained and knowledgeable in CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) quality controls, and are trained and tested under their own firm and rigorous guidelines for quality assurance. Xsealent Seafood Company boasts certification from CFIA, C-TPAT, HACCP and MSC. Consisting of several processing and holding facilities, Xsealent Seafood Co. is located on 5 acres of oceanfront property. Equipped with the most modern technology for fresh fish production, including their own wharf to ensure unloading protocols, XSC can produce thousands of pounds of fresh quality seafood every day.
