Each year Taku Fisheries purchases over seven million pounds of fish from local Alaskan Fishermen. Although the bulk of their production flows into domestic and foreign wholesale markets, they are able to select the best quality fresh fish from the catch for their own smokehouse and mail order needs.

They are a bona fide licensed, insured and bonded Alaskan seafood processing company. At Taku Fisheries they operate under the Federal Food and Drug Administrations' HACCP guidelines, the State of Alaska's Environmental Health Department regulations and inspections, as well as their own company quality and sanitation standards - the most stringent of all.

Taku enjoys a two-decade relationship of mutual respect with their local fishermen. They all love this community built around salmon and share a passion for angling.
