Shores & Ruark Seafood was established in 1976 on the Chesapeake Bay. Their business in 1976 was primarily like most Chesapeake seafood businesses; the company shucked oysters, shed soft shell crabs and hand picked blue crabs. Today they still perform all of these processes to a very high standard and Shores & Ruark Seafood, Inc is also active in renewing and restoring one of the Chesapeake Bay's prized gift...the Chesapeake Bay Oyster. It is Shores and & Ruark's mission to provide quality seafood to reputable retailers. They are also dedicated to "giving back" and providing future generations with a renewable resource.
