Sea Star Seafoods is a wholly owned Canadian company specializing in salt fish production. Incorporated in 1983, Sea Star processes and markets quality salt fish to customers in North America, South America and Europe. The business is family owned and operated by Adlai and Fenton Cunningham. Located on the waters of Clark's Harbour, in the southwestern part of Nova Scotia, Sea Star Seafoods is situated in an area famous for its salt fish products.

The company is committed to providing superior quality products to their customers by maintaining control over all aspects in purchasing raw materials, handling, and processing. The family has been involved with seafood production since 1894, while current management has had 50 years of experience in processing salt fish. They have their own processing plant that has undergone multiple expansions and upgrades since 1987. As a small-scale, family operated business, sustainability comes naturally to the team at Sea Star Seafoods. Because they depend on the ocean as a living, the community in turn depends on the company to support the local economy. In order to further their commitment to sustainability, they have taken steps to reduce their carbon footprint by implementing energy efficiency in their facility.
