Being a member of WWF Seafood Savers and its affiliation with the Indonesia Pole & Line and Handline Fisheries Association (AP2HI) helps the company improve its product value through sustainable fisheries practices. Its partnerships with these NGOs further showcases the company's commitment to supplying high-quality and sustainable seafood products. PT. Hatindo Makmur also works in cooperation with sustainable fisheries through its support of Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPS) in Indonesia and of fisheries stakeholders in working towards the goal of MSC-certification.

In addition to its commitment to sustainability, PT. Hatindo Makmur also recognizes the importance of food safety when it comes to quality products. The company uses, implements and maintains a Food Safety Management System based on HACCP standards and British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards.
