Contact Information

Started by commercial fishermen Bruce Johnson, who learned to fish from Hawaiian elders in the 1960s, Fresh Island Fish has grown to become the largest processor and distributor of fresh pelagic and bottomfish from the Hawaiian Islands and the South Pacific Island nations. In 2006, Fresh Island Fish opened a state-of-the-art processing plant just minutes from the Honolulu Airport and the Honolulu Fish Auction, where the companys experienced buyers and fish handlers man the auction starting at 5:00 am six days a week. Having earned a living on the sea, Bruce Johnson is passionately committed to the sustainable management of the fisheries upon which the company depends.
