FaroeLandia Ltd.
✕Situated in the heart of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic, the Faroe Islands have a rich fishing tradition stretching back for hundreds of years. Strong currents and cool waters ensure optimal conditions for cod, haddock, and a variety of shellfish. Using small coastal fishing vessels, FaroeLandia Ltd. carries on this rich tradition today.
FaroeLandia selects only the highest quality seafood products for their customers. To do this, FaroeLandia has implemented a series of procedures and quality control systems that start the moment the fish is captured and are carried forward throughout the distribution chain. All of FaroeLandia’s fishing trips last only hours. After harvest, their seafood is handled by professionals whom only select the best quality, line-caught seafood for distribution. Selection is based on environmental factors as well as freshness. To further ensure freshness, all products are shipped within 24 hours. Once a product has shipped, FaroeLandia continues to track each box and pallet throughout the shipping process.
Dedicated to providing environmentally sound seafood, FaroeLandia trains its employees in the many issues impacting food quality, food safety, and environmental integrity.
