In 1995, Rob and Debbie George started The Crab Broker and pioneered the idea of shipping fresh cooked Alaska Red King Crab out of Dutch Harbor to chefs around the country. Since then they have expanded their business to include all species of Alaska crab, including fresh and frozen. The fresh Alaska Crab program, however, has made The Crab Broker the premier supplier of authentic Alaska crab throughout the U.S. As a firm believer in 100% traceability, The Crab Broker buys its Alaska crab from the same vessels and processes it in Dutch Harbor year after year. The company knows where its crab has been from the moment its caught until the day it arrives at its customer's doorstep.
