Founded in 2010, Cold Country Salmon is owned and operated by native Alaskan, Traveler Terpening, and his wife Nicole. Together with their daughter Cedar, Traveler and Nicole spend their summers fishing Chinook and sockeye salmon in the remote Ugashik River District of Bristol Bay, Alaska. In the fall, the family returns to the the Mid-Atlantic to distribute their catch, bringing it to customers in the greater Washington D.C area where their company is based.
