Aquaco Farms of Fort Pierce, Florida is a land-based aquaculture facility specializing in Florida pompano. Designed to be one of the largest Florida pompano grow-out facilities in the world, Aquaco Farms hopes to alleviate the unpredictability and unsustainability that comes from sourcing wild Florida pompano.

Raising their pompano in recirculating aquaculture systems, the fish grow quickly and thrive in high densities, making it well suited for farming. Sold fresh, and never frozen, the Florida pompano’s extra lean white meat is firm and moist, with a small flake and a sweet, mild flavor. Due to its mild flavor profile, Florida pompano is a favorite amongst the food industry. With their first harvest expected in 2018, Aquaco Farms is poised to provide a sustainable, highly sought after commodity in the seafood industry.
