The Aquarium’s Sensible Seafood™ Program promotes ocean-friendly seafood. Sensible seafood comes from local and sustainable sources that are not over-fished or harvested in environmentally destructive ways. The Sensible Seafood™ Program promotes local seafood (such as oysters, clams, croaker, mackerel, striped bass, summer flounder, wild-caught shrimp, and blue crab), distributes pocket guides to help consumers make seafood choices, and works with a growing list of partner restaurants and seafood businesses to increase sensible seafood options.
For further information about additional partners, including business and community partners, please visit the Sensible Seafood's Program Partner page.
